Miniature Tether Electrodynamics Experiment

Who We Are

We are a faculty-led research team of undergraduate, graduate, and Ph.D. students from the University of Michigan Ann Arbor.

What We Do

We are building and deploying a CubeSat as proof of concept for an electrodynamic tether in a space environment.

When & Where We Work

We work primarily in the Climate and Space Sciences Research (CSRB) building on the University of Michigan's North Campus in the second-floor SETS lab. We hold daily/weekly meetings throughout the year, and meet on Sundays at 1 P.M. in the CSRB second-floor lounge during the Fall and Winter semesters.
