A critically important aspect of PROPHET is the training of students. We believe that PROPHET and its association with UMBS provides a great opportunity to teach young scientists to think outside of the intellectual constraints of discipline-focused pedagogy. Many students have been involved in all aspects of PROPHET activities and PROPHET data is incorporated in classroom activities. Training programs for both undergraduates (REU) and graduate students (BART) increase the opportunities to influence young scientists.
